Note From The Founder

Ever since I can remember, I’ve loved creating beautiful spaces. Some of my earliest memories involve decorating my Barbie Dreamhouse. Carefully rearranging furniture, obsessing over tiny details, and imagining how every room could feel just right. For many, it was just a toy. For me, it sparked a lifelong love of design.

That love only grew as I got older. I’ve always been the type to rearrange a room on a whim, layer in color, and hunt for those special details that bring a space to life. My husband can attest, coming home to a newly styled room (or an entirely reimagined house) has long been part of the deal.

As life evolved, my husband and I were blessed with triplets. I spent nearly two decades as a stay-at-home mom, a chapter that deeply shaped both my creativity and my heart. During those years, design never left me. I continued styling homes for family, friends, and investment properties, and worked closely with clients through my family’s cabinet company, Engstrom Wood Products. There, I gained a deep appreciation for craftsmanship, function, and furniture that’s built to last.

Lauren & Grace Studios was born at the intersection of all of that—creativity, experience, and heart. Named in honor of my girls, the brand reflects what matters most to me: thoughtful design, ease in the process, and pieces that feel personal and joyful. What began with vanities has grown into a curated home furnishings collection, crafted right here in Minnesota by skilled cabinetry builders, woodmakers, and finishers with decades of experience.
